Reminder: Vlad Guerrero's nephew/clone is among us, was just traded to the D-backs

Reminder: Vlad Guerrero's nephew is exactly like Vlad

You may have heard that the Mariners and D-backs made a trade on Wednesday. You may also have heard that the Mariners received Mark Trumbo and reliever Vidal Nuno, while the D-backs acquired pitcher Dominic Leone and backup catcher Welington Castillo. But there were also two Minor Leaguers sent along to Arizona, infielder Jack Reinheimer and an outfielder by the name of Gabby Guerrero. Guerrero, as you may have guessed, is the nephew of former baseball-destroyer Vlad. Want proof? Here's proof:

Raw power, free swing, no batting gloves -- pretty uncanny. Guerrero was the No. 5 prospect in the Mariners system and is just 21 years old (around the same time Vlad broke into the Majors). For more similarities, let's take a quick gander at Gabby's scouting report:

In many ways, Guerrero fits a profile very similar to his uncle, as a prototypical athletic right fielder with the chance to impact a game in a number of ways. He hit for average and his power started showing up in 2014, but people will want to see him do that away from the friendly confines of High Desert before believing. A free swinger, he will have to cut down on his strikeouts and improve his overall approach to reach his very high offensive ceiling. He's a solid runner with a very strong arm.

Although he's had a slow start in Double-A this year, Guerrero has hit well in his previous four pro seasons. We're not promising he's going to be the second coming of Vlad, but we can dream, right? YOU CAN'T TELL US HOW TO DREAM!
