Rob Delaney sang the national anthem at a Dodgers game and it was actually pretty good
The comedian, who was named the "Funniest Person on Twitter" at Comedy Central's Comedy Awards last year (for his account @robdelaney), sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" at Dodger Stadium on Friday. Delaney busted out a stentorian singing voice that was really more than decent, doing himself and the anthem proud.
We caught up with Delaney for his thoughts before singing:
And how did he earn that honor in the first place? By tweeting at the Dodgers' Twitter account, of course.
.@dodgers May I sing nat'l anthem at a game? I've done it 3x in years past but my contact left. I've done @redsox 4x. This is not a joke.
