Roberto Alomar wore No. 12, and now he's getting married on 12/12/12

Roberto Alomar wore No. 12 for almost his entire 17-year, seven-team MLB career. In 2011, the Blue Jays made it the first retired number in their franchise history. A huge group of couples will get married Wednesday, December 12, 2012 to take advantage of the triple-numbered date, and appropriately enough, Alomar and wife-to-be Kim Perks will be one of them.

It's a good thing Robbie is getting this done now -- otherwise he'd have to wait another 100 years for a 12/12/12. And while that might be appealing to Rush, it probably wouldn't be for the then-144-year-old second baseman.
