Rock legend Paul Rodgers sings national anthem at Citi
Paul Rodgers, the vocalist best known for his work with Bad Company and Free, belted out the Star-Spangled Banner before Monday's Mets-Nats tilt at Citi Field. The rock legend was in attendance in conjunction with the Seraphim 12 foundation's Hooves on First promotion, which raises awareness regarding the treatment of horses.
Joey, the life-sized horse puppet that appears in the Broadway musical War Horse, also took part in pregame ceremonies.
