Who wants to see Pudge Rodriguez and Jason Giambi mash dingers in the CPBL HR Derby?

Pudge, Giambi mash HRs in CPBL HR Derby

The 2015 Home Run Derby was a resounding success as MLB essentially invented the buzzer-beating homer, and hometown hero Todd Frazier claimed victory in dramatic fashion:

It was as close to perfect as Home Run Derbies get, but don't sleep on Sunday's Chinese Professional Baseball League derby, which featured Pudge Rodriguez and Jason Giambi mashing dingers into the seats of the Taichung Intercontinental Baseball Stadium while cheerleaders rooted them on.

Pudge and Giambi -- who won the 1999 and 2000 AL MVP Awards, respectively -- and their families arrived in Taiwan to much fanfare a few days before the event.

"Many fans asked the two ex-baseballers for their autographs as they stepped into the arrival hall, causing chaotic scenes at the airport.

Fans were so passionate that they surrounded the two stars and their families until security escorted the visitors to their hotel."

And once the clock struck dinger o'clock, the seasoned veterans busted out the all-or-nothing swings and pelted a bunch of homers into the seats ... and they did so while wearing jeans and bedazzled trucker hats.

Giambi and Pudge combined for 751 career home runs in their MLB careers and lived up to the hype in Taiwan, admittedly exhausting themselves crushing a litany of dingers.
