Ronny Turiaf is very excited to throw out the first pitch at Target Field

Minnesota Timberwolves center Ronny Turiaf made a bold prediction hours before throwing out the first pitch at Target Field on Monday.

But after delivering what he described as a "two-seam fastball" to Twins third baseman Trevor Plouffe -- Turiaf fell just a bit short.

"It didn't work out so well," Turiaf said. "Sorry."

It's OK, Ronny. Don't freak out too much.
