'Ru-bee' ... 'Ru-bee' ... Rudy actor Sean Astin pumps up Rubby De La Rosa before his start

Sean Astin has played some incredible characters over the years -- Samwise Gamgee in Lord of the Rings, Dave in the wildly-underrated Encino Man and Mikey in The Goonies: 

But his most notable role had to be in 1993's Rudy. Anyway, Astin was in Arizona this weekend throwing first pitches and talking marathon running. D-backs right-hander Rubby De La Rosa (pronounced Ru-bee) was set to start against the Padres on Monday, so the actor decided to give him some motivation the only way he knows how:
