Ru-dy! Real life 'Rudy' Ruettiger throws out first pitch at U.S. Cellular Field

Daniel "Rudy" Ruetigger, the inspiration for the classic movie Rudy, threw out the ceremonial first pitch before the White Sox-Indians game on Wednesday night.

The Chicago native said that baseball was his first love and then, as expected, expressed his excitement over Notre Dame's 4-0 start. He also fired in a pretty good pitch before the game.

Although, we have to admit, everything would've looked a whole lot cooler if this was playing in the background.
