Jarrod Saltalamacchia's bats have the Chuck Norris stamp of approval
Chuck Norris can dodge rain. When Chuck Norris encounters a bear in the woods, the bear plays dead. Bruce Springsteen calls Chuck Norris "The Boss." Chuck Norris doesn't need a watch: He decides what time it is.
Chuck Norris is on the knob of Jarrod Saltalamacchia's bats, even though he's no longer a Texas Ranger.
Saltalamacchia joined the D-backs partway through the 2015 season and has been on an absolute tear recently (he's accumulated six hits and four homers over his last five games). Some attribute his success to the fact that his bats have Chuck Norris' stamp of approval. Literally: They have Chuck Norris stamps on the knobs.

Salty started his career with the Braves, but played parts of four seasons with the Rangers before moving on to the Red Sox, Marlins and now the D-backs. So, we'd like to imagine that some part of him will always be a "Walker, Texas Ranger" every time he draws a base on balls.
