Salvador Perez does not appreciate people getting his catcher's gear wet, thank you very much

You may think of Salvador Perez as a pretty cheerful guy -- when he's not posting to the world's most hilarious dancing-filled Instagram account, he's being adorable best friends with teammate Lorenzo Cain and just generally being a goofball. 

But there comes a time in all men's lives where they must take a stand, and choose that which they're willing to sacrifice and that which is truly important. For Perez, that moment of truth came during his postgame interview after the Royals' 4-1 win over the Tigers. All was well with KC, in the midst of celebrating a big victory over a divisional rival, until a well-intentioned Gatorade shower came a little too close to Perez's catching equipment. And, well, let's just say he was having absolutely none of that:

Some true professionalism from the interviewer, who manages to swallow his pride, forget the near-death experience and carry on with the interview as if he weren't just betrayed by the guy in front of him. For as much as everyone tries to laugh it off, though, Perez really doesn't seem like he was kidding around about the situation. Priorities, people.
