Seagulls are now the dominant species at Safeco Field
By the 14th inning of Wednesday's White Sox-Mariners game, many of the fans had gone home -- the human fans, anyway. With the upper decks largely vacated, a few seagulls got cozy in the empty seats.
Seagulls aren't an uncommon sight around ballparks. In fact, a nervous flock may have cost the Royals a win back in 2009.
A lone, disoriented gull was greeted with cheers at a Mariners game the same year.
Considering how many half-eaten hot dogs and boxes of popcorn these birds must have found, this is all we can think of:
