Seagulls attack the Athletics in terrifying horror film -- Birdemic 3: Balls, Bats and Birds

Seagulls attack Athletics in terrifying horror film

Remember the deep, unabiding terror you felt while watching Birdemic: Shock and Terror?

And sure, that fear may have had less to do with the film and more the horrifying notion that a human being could spend this much time and effort making such a thing, but it was still an affecting work. Get ready to be scared again.

On Monday night, Athletics fans got to see the premiere of the sequel as seagulls decided to attack the Oakland outfielders. It was an artistic effort hailed as "disjointed" by A.O. Scott, "Bizarre," by Peter Travers and "Not actually a movie" by Leonard Maltin. Of course, that didn't keep him from giving it 2 1/2 stars thanks to its beautiful sets, amazing costumes and compelling lead characters.

And just how did the intrepid Oaklandites defeat the flying beasts? Well, spoiler warning, but they proceeded to bash three baseballs deep into the night sky to beat the birds and the Rockies, 7-1
