While he and the rest of the world has been busy counting down the 20ish hours in between the final out of Game 1 and the first pitch of World Series Game 2, MLB Network broadcaster Sean Casey put the fountains of Kauffman Stadium to good use.
Boasting quite the farmer's tan, Casey donned his bucket hat and rubber waders and set out in the middle of the Kauffman fountains to do some good ol' fashioned fishin'. And why not spend the sunny, mid-70s afternoon in Kansas City enjoying its outside offerings while you wait for Game 2 between the Royals and Giants? Fishing, then World Series baseball -- not too shabby a way to spend a day, in our humble opinions.
Just don't tell the Giants. Their own McCovey Cove might have something to say about fishing:
