Seattle hip hop group serves up some swag at Safeco
Hip hop duo Macklemore and producer Ryan Lewis hosted an exclusive event at Safeco on Friday to celebrate their new album The Heist.
The pair designed a Mariners-inspired hat printed with mini Kingdomes, the former home of Seattle's baseball team. The first 500 fans received the hat for free and about 100 more had the opportunity to meet Macklemore and Lewis.
Growing up a huge Mariners fan, Macklemore wrote the song "My Oh My" in December 2010 as a tribute to late announcer Dave Niehaus. Along with promoting his new album, the Seattle native delivered the cermonial first pitch.
