Secret identity revealed! Madison Bumgarner IS the legendary Paul Bunyan

Paul Bunyan was a large, strapping man who chopped down trees with his bare hands, hung out with enormous oxen and looked great in flannel plaid shirts. 

Add in the ability to blow massive snot rockets and shut down teams through the postseason and what do you get? Madison Bumgarner. 

On Monday morning, the left-hander was spotted looking like this:

While this photo was shot for an issue of Giants Magazine, they probably just captured Bumgarner as he showed up to Spring Training. Forget the golf carts taking him from complex to complex, he just rides his trusty steed, Babe the Blue Ox.

And should any tree get in his way, well, that's not a problem either.
