When the Twins needed a hero, outfielder Shane Robinson and his 64-mph knuckler delivered

Not much went right for the Twins during their 17-4 loss to the Indians on Saturday. Home runs were hit, runs scored, even the ballboys were conspiring against them. But as the adage goes, the night is always darkest just before the position player pitches -- and like a ray of shimmering light piercing through the darkness, outfielder Shane Robinson and his knuckleball were there to lift Minnesota's spirits:

Robinson pitched a clean inning, giving up one hit and one walk to go along with that backwards K. But no box score could truly encapsulate the grit, the leadership, nay, the heroism on display. He was the hero they deserved, if not the one they needed on this night.
