Singer Marc Anthony enters baseball agency business

After conquering middle-school dance ballads, marrying Jennifer Lopez and acting alongside Denzel Washington, you'd think Marc Anthony would be pretty satisfied with his life. Maybe he'd retire to some tropical island and lie on the beach -- listening to his chart-topping songs on repeat. 

But, no. On Monday, the entertainer announced his company Magnus Media had developed Magnus Sports, a division that will partner with baseball agency Praver Shapiro Sports Management to represent athletes. More from Marc via Fox Sports:

"Baseball, like music, is an ingrained cultural passion for many Latinos throughout the world, and there's no shortage of amazing stars of Hispanic origin."

He signed Aroldis Chapman in conjunction with the announcement:


And his agency now includes other Praver clients like Adeiny Hechavarria, Jorge Soler and Juan Uribe. We wish him much success and, most importantly, we hope he features the musically gifted Uribe on his next album:
