Billionaire Sir Richard Branson threw out the first pitch for the Tigers
Billionaire Sir Richard Branson threw out the first pitch for the Tigers on Friday and that's, like, a HUGE deal because that "Sir" in his name means that he's a friggin' knight.
Branson made his fortune as the founder of Virgin Group -- which is comprised of hundreds of companies, but is most widely known for its presence in the recording, mobile communications and airline industries.
He was in the Motor City, ironically, to announce Virgin Atlantic's new flight route from Detroit to London, but managed to find time in his busy schedule of planning to launch rich people into space and owning an island to take part in his newest adventure ... trying to find the strike zone at Comerica Park.
And they don't even play baseball in his country. Seriously, is there anything this guy can't do?
