So, apparently December 13 is National Kiss a Baseball Player Day

#NationalKissABaseballPlayerDay was the No. 1 Twitter trending topic in the US Thursday afternoon, so you know it had to be real thing.

But why didn't we know about the special occasion before? And who started the trend?

It could've been Dan Uggla and Freddie Freeman, who've been known to kiss teammates in the past. Al Alburquerque smooches baseballs, but not sure if players are his thing? Then again, maybe it was this bitter fan starting a crazy rumor after he was denied a kiss in front of thousands earlier this season.

Either way, keep an eye out for the legendary Kissing Bandit.  And don't ask Evan Longoria because he has no idea:
