Son of former MLB All-Star Ken Hill fills Johnny Manziel's Texas A&M shoes
Former All-Star's son is the new Johnny Manziel

The world knew that whoever replaced Johnny Manziel as the starting quarterback for Texas A&M was going to have big (and flashy) cleats to fill. Luckily for the Aggies, they have a QB1 who knows what it's like to follow in someone's footsteps ... current starter Kenny Hill.
Hill is the son of former Major League All-Star pitcher Ken Hill. The senior Hill pitched for seven teams across 14 Major League seasons, made a relief appearance in the 1994 All-Star Game as a Montreal Expo and finished second in Cy Young voting to Greg Maddux that season. All told, Hill maintained a 4.06 lifetime ERA and earned a 117-109 record.
On Thursday, the Aggies kicked the 2014 NCAA football season off with an impressive 52-28 victory over South Carolina as the younger Hill threw for 511 yards and three touchdowns, breaking Manziel's school record for passing yards in a game.
Now all he needs is his own universal hand signal and a candy commercial for us to really know he's made it.
