St. Louis Blues honor Stan Musial with custom No. 6 jerseys

Stan Musial spent his entire 22-year career playing baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals. It's a dedication and commitment to a city that's rarely seen in the professional sports world today.

After the Hall of Famer's passing last weekend, another St. Louis team honored The Man that gave so much for so long: the Blues wore No. 6 Musial jerseys during pregame warmups for Sunday's game against the Wild. St. Louis players autographed the honorary sweaters, which will be auctioned off for local charities after the game. Stan's grandson also dropped the ceremonial first puck.

Here's a photo of the jerseys in the Blues' locker room, courtesy of the hockey team's Twitter account:

By the way, the Blues won their opener against the Red Wings the day Musial passed away. Final score: 6 - 0.
