Lieutenant Commander Data, chief Dodgers fan of the Federation starship Enterprise

We've seen how celebrities love to party at Dodger Stadium, but now we have evidence that officers on Galaxy-class starships bring the Dodgers party into space with them, courtesy of the official Star Trek Twitter:

The next time he's on shore leave, maybe the team can get Data to appear at a game? The android science officer could throw a ceremonial first pitch, and maybe even pump up the crowd by announcing "It is time for a game of the ancient Earth sport baseball, to be contested between the Dodgers and their opponent."

The Dodgers, and all MLB teams, could actually learn a lot from Star Trek. The Deep Space Nine episode "Take Me Out to the Holosuite" features what is in my judgment the greatest infield chatter line ever:
