When Starling Marte stole second base in the first inning of Wednesday night's Reds-Pirates game, Cincinnati's Brandon Phillips tried to steal it back. In a strategy familiar to any older sibling, he simply moved Marte's foot out of the way and signaled Mom, er, the umpire:
But just like Mom, the umpire gave Phillips a "you behave nice, now" finger wag and sent him back out to play.
