Super Bowl Countdown: King Felix raises '12th Man' flag

As we approach Super Bowl XLIX, we remember the moments when a few members of the Patriots and Seahawks osmosed through the cross-sports membrane and found themselves in the world of MLB. Today: that time Felix Hernandez hoisted the "12th Man" flag at CenturyLink Field.

Sports fans in Seattle have a lot to be excited about. This offseason the Mariners lured Nelson Cruz to the Pacific Northwest, traded for J.A. Happ, Justin Ruggiano and Seth Smith and locked up Kyle Seager to man the hot corner ... all while a different hot corner and the Legion of Boom helped Russell Wilson lead the Seahawks to their second straight Super Bowl appearance.
