Switchfoot lead singer sets aside loyalties for first pitch
Jon Foreman has been making hit rock songs for more than 15 years. But I bet you didn't know he also throws a mean changeup.
A changeup clocked at 18 mph -- which actually defies the laws of physics -- right into the glove of D-backs pitcher Wade Miley.
The lead singer of Switchfoot says he was pretty nervous to throw out the ceremonial first pitch Friday and that singing on stage after the show would be much easier.
You did pretty well on the mound, Jon, but a word of advice: Don't ever admit to being a fan of the D-backs' NL West rival. Unless you enjoy being attacked by an angry mascot.
