T-shirts pay tribute to Halman's memory

During the offseason, tragedy struck when the Mariners lost Greg Halman. An inspiration to so many teammates, family and fans, the Mariners made a special shirt to celebrate Halman's life.

The shirt is orange, the national color of Halman's native Netherlands. In Dutch, it says "broer voor het leven" which translates to "brother for life." His name and number are on the back along with "No Grind/No Shine," one of Halman's favorite sayings, on the sleeve.

Mariners players have had the shirts since the beginning of the season, but they've been on sale to the general public at the Mariners Team Store since Friday.
