The best way to get around U.S. Cellular Field? Try a bike
U.S. Cellular Field is a massive 1,300,000-square-foot facility, measuring 130 feet from the roof to the playing field. What's the fastest way to get around a stadium that big?
According to Field Telecommunications Manager Frank Butler, it's on a bicycle.
Butler has been biking in the bowels of the stadium since it opened in 1991. Rather than ride a bulky cart, the longtime White Sox employee cycles to the upper deck via various ramps and elevators.
