The D-backs executed a vintage Playboy Club scene as part of rookie hazing

As part of their rookie hazing on Thursday, the D-backs set up the most realistic simulacrum of the '60s-era Playboy Club you're likely to see since The Playboy Club was canceled.

As tweeted by the team's official Twitter account, some D-back rooks became Hugh Hefner-type older gentlemen with bathrobes, pipes and sea captain's hats. Meanwhile, others followed Gloria Steinem's lead and went undercover as bunnies. Whether any of them produce a tell-all book about the experience remains to be seen.
