Phils broadcasters don't know what 'The Wobble' is
At every wedding there's this palpable moment when the bridal party (fueled by two hours of the open bar at the reception) storms the dance floor as the DJ plays some Song of the Moment like two and a half times before the older folks even realize what's happened (see: For What, Turn Down). They usually pull one of the groomsmen aside to ask him about the song and why they like it so much.
Well, in 2012, that song was V.I.C.'s "Wobble Baby" and--on Tuesday night--Phillies broadcasters Tom McCarthy and Matt Stairs were the old guys at the wedding.
As the Phils were hosting the Nationals the intrepid Phanatic busted out his best wobble, much to delight of everyone at Citzens Bank Park. Meanwhile, McCarthy and Stairs chuckled up in the booth, admitting they had no idea what exactly they were witnessing.
