The Pirate Parrot tries to field foul ball, fails miserably and falls onto field

Benjamin Franklin once said, "Do not fear mistakes. You will know failure. Continue to reach out."

The Pirate Parrot appears to be taking that advice literally as it showed off its grace and dexterity on Tuesday when it took a little tumble onto the field while trying to field a foul ball. 

The Pirates were hosting the Cardinals and the Parrot was doin' its thang in the seats down the left-field line when Clint Barmes grounded a pitch foul. Reaching over the railing, the Parrot forgets that it's a bit top heavy and spills out onto the field, breaking its fall with its beak.

So sad.

Perhaps the worst part about the blooper is that it's evidence of the fact that the Pirate Parrot hasn't learned from its mistakes. The same thing happened last year against the Brewers:
