The Royals' new alternate jersey is all about the 'KC'

The Royals unveiled a new road alternate jersey on Monday, and for the first time in the team's 44-year history, their "KC" hat logo will appear on their chests. The new shirt will feature powder blue piping, unlike their previous road alternate, which was royal blue with a white "Royals" wordmark. The powder blue home alternate remains unchanged, as does the team's white and gray options.

The "hat-logo-on-left-breast" trend has been booming for a while in MLB. By my count, this makes Kansas City the 12th team (along with the Athletics, Cubs, D-backs, Giants, Nationals, Reds, Padres, Pirates, Tigers, White Sox and Yankees) to have at least one uniform option with that particular feature.

So, what are your thoughts about the Royals' new jersey?
