The Yankees and New Era co-host Pinstripe Bowl Charity Golf Tournament
The New York Yankees Foundation and New Era hosted the third annual Pinstripe Bowl Charity Golf Tournament on Monday. The event took place at the Westchester Country Club in Rye, N.Y.
Yankees General Manager Brian Cashman and President Randy Levine were in attendance, alongisde select head coaches from Big East football and basketball teams, former New York Giants football players and other Yankees alumni.
"It's a great opportunity for everybody to have a good time. There are a lot of cool people that show up at this event. It's fun," Cashman said. The Yanks GM, who is still nursing leg injuries from a sky diving accident, also joked about his own performance: "I am really disappointed because I like to hit the golf ball. I like to smoke it, and I'm not going to have a chance to smoke it today."
