There can only be one Giant Slugger

In honor of National Hot Dog and Sausage Month, the Twins introduced the "Giant Slugger", a 1-pound, 2-foot-long hot dog at the beginning of July.

Throughout the month, the organization has been holding "Giant Slugger" eating contests. Thursday, the second round was held, and Nick Hetfeld came out victorious.

Hetfeld will now move on to the finals on July 28th. When asked how he will prepare for the finals he said, "I'm just going to stick to my regular meals, maybe do a little more exercising to burn off the last two Sluggers."

If you're interested in trying out the "Giant Slugger," you better do so quickly, it will only be available at Target Field through the end of July.
