This Cleveland trainer lost a bet -- and paid a revealing price
Indians assistant trainer Michael Salazar made a simple bet with head strength and conditioning coach Joe Kessler. Salazar wagered that Notre Dame would win the BCS Championship Game. Notre Dame did not win the BCS Championship Game.
The result of the bet was what you see above. Salazar was required to come to Indians camp wearing very little on the lower half of his body. His arrival was greeted with applause from manager Terry Francona and the rest of the team, as well as a Marco Rubio-esque water bottle sip from GM Chris Antonetti.
As MLB.com beat reporter Jordan Bastian tweeted, Salazar's payment soon grew more even more significant:
