This Giants cushion wants to put a woopin' on the Tigers

Michael Zuniga of Modesto, Calif., wants to let you know that there is, in fact, a connection between his costume and his favorite team.

"It's a giant woopie cushion. Who cares? We're in the World Series, craziness is where it's at, let's do it."

Craziness has definitely been where it's at for Giants fans this postseason, but Zuniga says his distinctive get-up has its origins in the team's last championship run.

"Actually it started the last time we won the World Series, we were up against the Braves [in the NLDS] and they had quite a few errors. I was going to that game so I threw on the woopie cushion. It originally had the whole emblem that said "oops" and everything, but I had to cover it up with the World Series championship [logo]. Sergio Romo happened to autograph it. He was a good fellow."

And like the bearded closer, Zuniga is continuing the tradition of extravagant Giants hair. His impeccable orange-and-black mohawk came naturally to him, he explained, since he's currently a hair design student.
