This is no experiment -- Jamie Kennedy tosses first pitch at Citi
Actor and comedian Jamie Kennedy was on hand at Citi Field to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the Mets took on the Braves on Sunday. Though he admits to being a Phillies fan, Kennedy was more than appreciative of the Mets' hospitality after the club gave him a customized "Kennedy 1" jersey and a fitted Mets hat.
Kennedy is no stranger to tossing out first pitches. "I think I had a high hanging curve," he said of his experience handling ceremonial honors prior to a Cubs game.
He also played a little ball growing up. "When I first started, I stunk," he said. "So they put me out in right."
