Let's set the scene ...

21 years ago today, the Blue Jays were playing the Phillies in Game 6 of the World Series. Toronto was up 3 games to 2, but down 6-5 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. That's when things started to happen.

Rickey Henderson led off with a walk, Devon White flied out to left and Paul Molitor singled to center. And then, Joe Carter and his 33 regular-season home runs stepped up to the plate, and Joe Carter hit one of the more memorable homers (alongside one of the more memorable calls) in baseball history.

The Fall Classic victory was the second in as many years for the Blue Jays. Although they haven't played in October since, they're getting closer ...
