Torii Hunter had Popeyes chicken delivered to A's fans on Wednesday
The right-field fans in Oakland are known for heckling opposing outfielders, and Torii Hunter was no exception.
Tired of the constant verbal barrage during a game at the Coliseum in 2010, Hunter turned to the bleachers and made a deal: You stop heckling, and I'll send up some Popeyes.
Sounds fair -- except the Popeyes never came and the heckling continued. Until Wednesday, that is.
A day after Josh Reddick reclaimed Bacon Tuesday, the Section 149 crew feasted on chicken courtesy of the Angels right fielder. And Hunter probably enjoyed some peace and quiet.
