UFC fighter Brandon Vera throws out first pitch at Padres game

Last night, the Padres honored UFC fighter Brandon Vera by allowing him to throw out the ceremonial first pitch before the squad took on the Astros.

With those huge arms, quite frankly, we were expecting Vera to be able to throw the ball a good 130 mph -- or at least break the catcher's hand. Maybe next time, they can let him blast some balls during batting practice.
