Umpire C.B. Bucknor impressively dodges no-pitch after time is called

Umpire artfully dodges no-pitch after time is called

An umpire's job is not easy. Ball, strike, safe and out may seem like simple concepts, but baseball is often a game of millimeters and that job can get tougher when you're trying to duck out of the way of Major League heat.

C.B. Bucknor knows this better than most. Bucknor's a veteran umpire who started calling games in the show back in 1996. In 2013, he took a pitch off the mask and was forced to exit an Athletics-Red Sox game early.

On Thursday, Indians pitcher Archie Bradley (the rookie who's MLB debut was a win over Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers) was on the mound when Brandon Belt requested a time out. Bucknor granted time and started to move from behind home plate when Bradley's no-pitch came flying in.

Whew. That was close. Way to move back there, Blue.
