UPDATE: Bid on J.J. Putz's autographed Justin Bieber card

Update 6/19: Now you can own J.J. Putz's autographed Justin Bieber card.

The D-backs closer has decided to auction off the card to benefit a pair of charities -- Craig Breslow's Strike 3 Foundation and Brad Ziegler's Pastime for Patriots.

Said Putz: "Given the way I obtained this card, I think the only responsible course is to donate it to charity. Besides, convincing my twin girls I was better off taking them to Justin Bieber's Believe Tour kickoff concert on Sept. 29 in Phoenix rather than keeping the card put me in the running for father of the year."

The auction is open until July 1, so place your bid right HERE.

Original post 6/14:

Opening a pack of baseball cards is a rite of passage for many young American children.

In this case, grown man J.J. Putz opened a pack of Panini baseball cards and discovered a gem: an authentic Justin Bieber signature card.

D-backs teammate Brad Ziegler tweeted the event, along with this semi-embarrassing photo of an excited Putz.

Then again, who wouldn't be excited to find a card estimated to be worth $4,500?
