USC releases rare footage from Jackie Robinson's college football days

Nope, that's not a typo. Posted in honor of Jackie Robinson Day by USC, this rare footage shows Robinson playing for the Bruins in 1939's USC-UCLA Crosstown Showdown. Keep an eye out for No. 28.

After leaving UCLA -- where he also played basketball and ran track -- Robinson played semipro football in Hawaii and even coached on the hardwood before beginning his professional baseball career.
