Vet memorizes, writes names of 2,000 fallen soldiers on D-backs' memorial wall
Most of us have trouble remembering the name of a new co-worker or friend. Sometimes we even forget what our phone number is, important anniversaries and how to spell Wednesday.
Ron White doesn't have these problems. The Navy veteran is a two-time USA Memory Champion and on Memorial Day, he utilized his talents for an incredibly admirable endeavor. White memorized the first and last names of 2,000 fallen soldiers from the War in Afghanistan and wrote them on a 50-foot memorial wall at Chase Field. The task kicked off at 10 a.m. local time and White finished during the second game of the doubleheader between the Rangers and D-backs.
Awesome stuff.
