Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant almost got taken out by the racing Reds mascots

Cubs first baseman Anthony Rizzo and super prospect Kris Bryant almost suffered the same fate as Simba's dad last weekend when he was nearly trampled by the mascot race at Great American Ball Park:

Thankfully, he managed to avoid the looming Mr. Redlegs and make it to the field safely, but this is just another reason to approach any and all mascots with care. You never know what might happen:
