Appel gets sunflower seed shower during AFL interview

The grand tradition of baseball players showering one another with sunflower seeds during in-game interviews is not restricted simply to MLB games. Take, for example, the Arizona Fall League Championship between the Peoria Javelinas and the Salt River Rafters.
Rafters pitcher, 2013 No. 1 overall pick and Astros prospect Mark Appel took some time during the game to talk to the broadcast team and, well, get pelted with sunflower seeds in the process:

Appel has looked great in the Fall League, and scouts agree that he showed plus-plus interview skills here. It's not easy to stay focused on the topic of conversation during such shenanigans. That's MLB-ready stuff right there.
