MadBum takes Clayton Kershaw deep

Picture Thursday's Dodgers-Giants game: It's the bottom of the third inning and there are two outs. Madison Bumgarner is about to face the defending NL MVP and Cy Young Award winner, Clayton Kershaw. This is about as literal as a "pitcher's duel" gets without actual pistols at dawn.

But, as long as we're sticking with the duel metaphor, MadBum is definitely Aaron Burr, and Kershaw, alas, is Alexander Hamilton. On the very first pitch, a 91-mph fastball, the reigning World Series MVP took Kershaw deep:


Think of it this way, Clayton -- no one writes Broadway musicals about Aaron Burr.
