Chris Stewart was stalwartly guarding the plate for the Pirates during Friday's game against the Mets. When he noticed Juan Lagares taking a lead off third base, he did what any good catcher would do -- he fired a strike down the line.
Sorry, did we say strike? We meant "spike" and by "down the line" we meant "down into the earth's molten core."

It's OK, buddy. We're right there with you. Who among us hasn't made that face when watching your piece of toast fall on the floor, butter side down?
