Darth Vader and a roving band of Stormtroopers took over Citizens Bank Park on Monday

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, Darth Vader was the most terrifying guy in the land. His mastery of the force -- particularly its dark side -- gave him immense power and control over the massive Galactic Empire. But then, a loosely affiliated group of rebels took the Empire down, and ever since, Vader's been looking for a second calling.

It seems as though that second calling is baseball, as Vader and a group of Stormtroopers showed up at Citizens Bank Park on Monday to hang out with the Phanatic and watch the Phillies defeat the Mariners 4-1:

Of course, the Stormtroopers had some trouble getting into the stadium:

But Vader seemed to do just fine:

And once inside, they had a grand old time:

You know, as long as Darth didn't have to pitch or anything:

The Phillies are holding Star Wars Night on August 22 against the Cardinals, so we can only assume Lord Vader will return to Citizens Bank Park around then.
