Jeter and Peyton Manning were chatting before a game
On Sunday afternoon, Peyton Manning was seen gallivanting around Yankee Stadium, signing autographs, meeting with Reggie Jackson and, most importantly, chatting with Derek Jeter.

But just what could these two greats be discussing? I'm not a lip reader, but I have a few ideas:
JETER: Hey Peyton, how are you? Long time, no see.
MANNING: Derek, I need you to listen very, very closely. The fate of the world hangs in the balance. I'm actually the Peyton Manning from the future and if you retire, terrible, terrible things will happen. You need to keep playing to save the planet!
JETER: Ha ha, you're such a cut-up, Peyton.
MANNING: No, you don't understand! I don't have much time before my wormhole closes. So you need to listen to me: Don't. Stop. Playing. And if you meet a woman wearing a purple fedora, do not agree to -- [Peyton Manning disappears]
JETER: Peyton? Peyton?! Where are you? This isn't funny anymore!

JETER: I know who you are, Peyton. We've met like a hundred times.
MANNING: Oh. Yeah. How are you doing?
JETER: Good. You?
MANNING: Good, good. Can't complain.
JETER: ...
MANNING: So...
JETER: Well, I should get going. Got the game and all.
MANNING: Yeah, yeah. I gotta ... get to my seat and stuff.

MANNING: Have you ever thought about what would happen if we combined our strengths? Put our two heads together, maybe added a few arms?
JETER: YES! Like, we'd be a human spider, right? And what if we added wheels for feet and --
BOTH: LASER CANNONS!
MANNING: We'd be unstoppable!
JETER: Like a human Voltron!
MANNING: [spoken like a robot] Zap! Zap! Zap! Destroy all humans!
JETER: Oh, wait, we're bad guys?
MANNING: Well, yeah. Why? Do you want to save the humans?
JETER: I think so.
MANNING: Oh. Then this probably isn't going to work out.
Sadly, until that happens, we'll just have to live with this:
