Digger Phelps sings 'Take Me Out to the Ballgame,' gives crowd motivational speech

Digger Phelps was the head coach of the Notre Dame men's basketball team for 20 years, and is remembed as the winningest coach in the program's history.

During the seventh-inning stretch of Saturday's Cardinals-Cubs matchup, Phelps performed an impassioned rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame," complete with some motivational words for the team on the field and the fans in the stands. 

Here's a fun baseball tidbit for you -- Phelps' daughter, Karen, is married to former Major League pitcher Jamie Moyer. Who knew?
